I’m very happy to report that my Writers of the Future finalist story, “Kindle My Heart,” has been accepted by the new market, Fantasy Scroll Magazine.

“Kindle My Heart” was written as part of a challenge with a prompt–The Command for Love.  I took the prompt and twisted it around a bit.  “Kindle My Heart” is more of a story based on the command not to love.  It’s a fantasy tale with a strong romantic feel, and I’m thrilled that it has found a home.

Fantasy Scroll Magazine is currently running a kickstarter campaign.  Feel free to take a look.  They’ve got a strong lineup of authors and I’m proud that I’ll be in a publication that has included such writers as Ken Liu, Mike Resnick, and Alex Shvartsman.
